The NSW Pro Open has given dozens of NSW poker players the chance to go to Las Vegas and live their poker dream – playing in the WSOP Main Event! Now, with more cash added to the prize pool the rebranded WSOP Playoffs will be a more coveted title than ever!

Frequency:
The WSOP Playoff is a monthly event. It will be partnered up with the NSW State Champs as a special event weekend. These events will usually take place on the second or third weekend of every month (where possible).

Structure:
The WSOP Playoff will be run as a two flight event with a T20,000 start bank. There will be buy-ins and top-ups at registration ONLY.

• Buy-in: $110 buy-in on the day (includes top-up)
• Top-up: $20 top-up at registration available for an extra T10,000

Qualification Process:
The qualification system for the WSOP Playoff is as follows:
• Win any APL Pro Series or 888PL* Challenge event in the preceding month
• Place 2nd in any APL Pro Series or 888PL* Challenge event in the preceding month
• Players with multiple qualifications through event wins will have the ability to transfer their additional tickets in accordance with the transfer stipulations

Transfer Stipulations – Recipients of transferred tickets must register with the owner of the ticket. Recipients must be existing APL/888PL members.

This event will offer a GTD $25,000 prize pool.
